I can’t believe the press going around about Crash being such an awful choice for Best Picture. I have not yet seen Brokeback Mountain, but I plan to. I can’t make a competent comparison at the moment having only seen the winner of the two. But if you are one wallowing in the terrible decision [...]

I can’t tell you how happy I am… I have not yet seen all of the nominees, so maybe I’ll change my mind about this later, but as of now, the honor of the Best Picture Oscar was totally deserved. Crash is a phenomenal movie which deals with complex issues in a way which causes [...]

I’ve been less than thrilled so far with the Oscars. John Stewart seemed nervous and flat, and even though he wasn’t over-the-top political, I thought he went further than he should have. Loved what Clooney had to say, though. Parton’s song was just interesting. Spielberg didn’t look too happy about it while he was clapping.

And my alter ego, he he he, was just nominated for two awards (well, Best Ensemble and Best Production for a show I was in). I try to keep the acting stuff as separate as possible, because I use a stage name. So again, I’ll be posting info to my acting site.

Just got booked on another small cable show… hopefully this won’t be like last year, where I booked a small cable show early on, and then that was my only paying acting gig (I don’t count five bucks a performance for plays… which doesn’t even cover gas but is nice to get something at the [...]

Okay, BIG disclaimer. If you are easily offended, do not watch this video. It contains some profanity (no f-bombs, if that makes a difference for you), and I post it because it shows how a lot of people think. And it’s really, really funny, although I think flawed for the purpose the director obviously meant [...]

Over the past week or so, I’ve watched the Firefly series on DVD. I wanted to watch it before the movie Serenity came out, but alas, I am just now caught up on the entire series. Now, I have to wait until the movie comes out on DVD, because I’m pretty sure it’s not in [...]

I’m with Aaron Flores on this one. Nip/Tuck is a phenomenal show dealing with humanity in a culture which venerates perceived perfection. While the backdrop of rich plastic surgeons and the beautiful and not-so-beautiful people that seek their services is a bit salacious, the reality of the characters’ lives speaks to the human condition. These [...]

Scott Stapp from Creed releases his first solo album November 22, 2005. I’m anxious to hear more from the album. The Great Divide album’s title track can be heard in its entirety by playing the music video on Scott Stapp’s website. link The video’s not much more than Stapp singing, but you can hear the [...]

Saw it last night. It’s pretty good. Feels a little bit like a documentary at times, but a good documentary. I wish I would’ve found out more about Murrow’s life after McCarthy. Not far after, but it ended before all of the McCarthy stuff was really over. I had to get on the internet to [...]
