If you are powering your blog via WordPress, there’s a new plug-in developed by my friend, Scott Allen at Hybrid 6 Studios, which eliminates almost all the automated comment spam.
I’ve tried it out, and it works great. Try it, and even if you’re using Akismet, you’ll notice you don’t have the tons of Akismet spam [...]

Okay, I know I’ve been absent from the blog… absent from my house church… absent from a lot of other things. I’ve been crazy busy with trying to find a new place to live, doing a ton of web development work, shooting a short film and a tv pilot (not the really good kind, but [...]

Wordpress has released an update which looks to be quite impressive, 2.1 and it’s called Ella. I updated with Fantastico on my server in less than half a minute… I love cPanel/Fantastico.
Check out WordPress 2.1 Ella

My PowerBook may be giving up the ghost. Very sad, but expected, since the AppleCare just ran out January 1! I think the logic board may have partially gotten fried by a power surge. That’s my best guess, any way. The powerbook won’t charge, even though the light sometimes comes on the connector. So I [...]

It’s been a long time coming, and I thank all of you who encourage me to get the podcasts out there. This podcast consists of some thoughts I’ve been having about the local church’s plan, or lack thereof, to help people become better followers of Jesus

11:43 Battlestar Galactica and [...]

I’ve added two very cool (imho) plug-ins to this website today. One, you will notice on every post. At the end of every post is a “Share This” link which will open a pop-up giving you links to add that post or page to your favorite social bookmarking tool or email the post to another [...]

I just gave Google Apps for Your Domain a test run, and I’m really impressed with the ease of use to switch my hosting email to gmail. For me, since web hosting is my business, I wanted to make sure I understood the process because I’m sure some of my customers may want to begin [...]

If you’re web host uses cPanel there’s a great function which is not often used where you can filter messages prior to being delivered to anyone’s inbox.
If you’re among the many, many people receiving spam which has as it’s subject “It’s name : )” where name is a different name every time, you can write [...]

So far, I’m extremely impressed with Mozilla’s latest release of the Firefox browser, version 2.
Something we Mac users have been screaming for has finally come to the new Firefox… you can now close each tab with an “x” on the tab instead of it being all the way to the right of the browser. It’s [...]
