There are people who have bled for this country who don't fit your absurdly reductionist models, models that do little more than make it easier for you to move and function in the world without being too challenged in your belief systems. I used to post on Free Republic and considered myself a card-carrying member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Now, for the sake of my country and my sanity, I've taken pause to consider the damage that right-wing loyalty, and the cover it's given to men like Bush and Cheney, may have done to my beloved country.
