Curiously, Weeds Season 2 was not available on iTunes during the season as it aired. Presumably, this had something to do with proprietary deals with another vendor who will remain nameless (and did not sell videos to Mac customers… what a stupid move for Showtime with a show that would appeal to the types of people who generally buy Macs). Maybe the loss in revenue will ensure Showtime does not make the same mistake for Weeds season 3? We can only hope.
At any rate, the DVD for Season 2 is coming out very soon and can already be pre-ordered at Amazon (use the link in the Amazon box if you’re interested in checking out the DVD).
I agree. It is even weirder when you think about the fact that the family used a Mac the entire season.

My wife and I just started watching this show on Showtime’s On Demand channel and we’re up to episode 13, I think. It’s one of the most colorful, character-driven shows out there… often laugh-out-loud funny, and sometimes quite touching. Good show.

Does anyone know whether episodes of weeds will be released to itunes immediately after airing or whether they will be released in bulk after the season is over?
