Darfur Orders Women Stoned for Adultery: “Khartoum, Sudan – Two ethnic African women from Darfur have been sentenced to death by stoning for committing adultery, while their male partners escaped punishment, a human rights activist said Thursday.”

(Via Beliefnet Religion & Spirituality News.)

Stoned. Really.

The males go free.

Does Sudan have oil? We might be able to sway our government to go in and up end their government if they do.

One Response to “Darfur Orders Women Stoned for Adultery”

  1. Here are two things everyone can do:

Visit the Fidelity out of Sudan website – http://fidelityoutofsudan.net This divestment campaign is gathering strength. If we can make Fidelity divest it will have real impact.

Visit the Darfur Wall website – http://darfurwall.org/a/dan – and light a number on the wall by donating one dollar. Join with thousands of others to oppose the genocide.

    Thanks,
