I'm really glad to hear that Trent Green is going to be OK. Honestly, I don't know if the KC offense played poorly or the Cincy defense actually played well. I'm just glad to get out of there with a victory.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Open mouth, insert foot.

To make it worse, Herm Edwards is saying crap like this:

“We scored 10 points. I’m going to say it again: we scored 10 points. So, people who say I’ve changed this offense…. I didn’t change this offense. We didn’t play well. We didn’t play good enough, OK. But I might change this offense because if we’re going to score 10 points and going to run out of quarterbacks by the end of the year I might have to change the offense. But at this point this offense has not been changed and for people who say that, well, they didn’t go to the game; they didn’t watch the game. This is the same offense. I didn’t call one play, not one play. So people who say I’m conservative that’s…"

He did change the offense. The Chiefs forgot about Larry Johnson for almost an entire quarter in the first half! That would never happen last year or previously with Priest Holmes.

Personally, I don't blame Edwards as much as the new offensive coordinator, Mike Solari. I guess he needs to find his groove, but the Cincy defense, while playing commendably, was made to look good by his bad play calling (and reportedly not even knowing what down it was when the Chiefs were in the red zone).

If he doesn't shape up, it's going to be a long year regardless of whether Trent Green gets healthy or not.

LOL! Week 1 and the Cheifs are done already. Put a fork in them. The Denver Donkeys stunk it up too.

Okay, do me a favor and tell your boys that if they're going to continue to stink up the field and get beat, the least they can do is let Chad Johnson run wild so I get the fantasy points!

GO BRONCOS!
