less expensive - per gallon, yes.  But organic fuel is also less efficient, so getting from point A to point B can cost just as much money if you get it from a pump.

Frees us from dependence on middle east oil - only if we can start producing it in serious quantities.

Don&#039;t get me wrong, I&#039;m totally with you on this, we need to start getting off of petrol.  But we also need to realize that it&#039;s going to take time and a significant investment by our government to help car and oil companies get us there.  The only way that&#039;s going to happen is if we pressure our elected officials to make it happen, and continue to pressure them after the current gas crisis starts to fizzle.</description>
