Some great thoughts by Michael Toy on deconstruction and what comes next…
deconstruction has more to do with revealing flaws inherent in constructed understandings. i believe derrida says that everything carry the seeds of its own deconstruction. deconstruction is more about shining light in the basement than it is about blowing things up. (emphasis mine)
and so the thing which follows deconstruction is not a re-construction, but a continued walk among the still standing structures, with a different realtionship and trust in them.
