Upgrading Server

Tuesday, February 7th, 2006

I’m upgrading my server, so you may experience some weirdness… like comments disappearing after they’ve showed up on the site. The IP of the site is changing, so that means there are some propagation issues as the domain resolves to its new home

ESPN.com – NFL/PLAYOFFS05 – Smith: Officiating was less than Super This article sums up my feelings about the game pretty well. Glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t believe what they were watching.

The Experiential Apologetic

Sunday, February 5th, 2006

Much has been written about the role of experience in understanding God. I personally believe in the age we live in now, experience is a far better apologetic than reason, though reason should not entirely be discounted. I question, though, what seems to be the predominant view of “experience” leading to faith. Or more correctly, [...]

In Memoriam: Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Sunday, February 5th, 2006

In Memoriam: Dietrich Bonhoeffer (2/4/1906 to 4/9/1945): “February 2006, marks the 100th year since the birth of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Saturday, February 4th, 2006

I’m sticking to my selection of several weeks back. The Seahawks are going to be the Super Bowl champions. The Seattle defense will keep Pittsburgh under twenty points, while the prolific Seattle offense will score closer to 30. That’s the way I see it, and I’m sticking to it!

Evan Almighty

Friday, February 3rd, 2006

Evan Almighty? I think Steve Carell is hilarious, but I’m a little hesitant about the script idea for the Bruce Almighty sequel. God, played by Morgan Freeman, tells Evan Baxter (newsman from the first movie) to build a flood-proof ark. Should provide some laughs, and I’m glad to see Tom Shadyac is directing. If anyone [...]
