In Baja California, you can actually see the stars. That’s one thing about Los Angeles I don’t like… most of the stars are blinded out by the lights of the city. My friend Ron and I stepped out of the car last night, and I was awed by the stars. I said something, and we both looked up. At that moment, a shooting star blazed across the night sky. It was pretty incredible.
I’d love to retire here. Hopefully by some miracle I can purchase one of the inexpensive lots before the airport starts running commercial flights. After that, the costs will be way out of my price range. Honestly, I’m not in a financial position to even think about purchasing retirement land, but it’s a pleasant fantasy.
Today, I’m hoping to get some screenplay writing done after I work on a website that should’ve been a lot easier than it has been. Hopefully by next week, I’ll be caught up on web work and it can be a real vacation between Christmas and New Years.
