So my first and third favorite teams were the favorite team today (First favorite=Chiefs, third favorite=Whoever is playing the Denver Broncos).
Unfortunately, I had to root against my second favorite team (whoever’s playing the Raiders) for playoff reasons. And it didn’t work. Okay, I didn’t actually “root” for them, as I didn’t even watch the game. I was performing on stage when the game started, and I had taped the Chiefs game so I watched it as soon as I got home.
Incredibly, I was able to fend off any one with knowledge of the game and watch that incredible game. It’s everything you expect from a Chiefs-Broncos game in December.
That was Kansas City’s seventeenth straight December win at Arrowhead stadium. They’re going to need to keep it up to make the playoffs this year. 10-6 won’t be good enough this year in the AFC, so the Chiefs can only lose one game the rest of the way out the way I see it…
I just recently started reading your blog and listening to your podcasts … I knew that there was something wrong with you but couldn’t put my finger on it. Now I know, don’t worry, being a Chiefs fan isn’t the unforgivable sin so eternity is still open to you!
A Bronco fan in mourning

Ah, Joe. A deceived Bronco fan.
Well, you should take solace in the fact that the Broncos will have to really screw things up to lose the West. The Chiefs have the toughest schedule for the four remaining games in the NFL.
