No matter how desperately you think you need a haircut… or really do need a haircut. Don’t go to SuperCuts.
And another tip, if you even suspect a little your hair stylist doesn’t speak good English, LEAVE.
Be polite, but it’s not worth it.
Maybe as an actor, I’m more sensitive. I have a callback for a Taco Bell commercial, and what was supposed to be a trim turned into a significant haircut. And one I’m not happy with to say the least. When I auditioned, my hair was much longer. I only hope since the part is a traveling businessman, they won’t care about my hair. Otherwise, my gamble (due to my motorcycle being out of commission and no easy way to get to my regular hair stylist) will be very costly. Much more than the fourteen dollars I paid for a bad haircut. I normally spend thirty (and get made fun of for spending too much by some of my guy friends), and trust me, it’s worth every penny.
I agree whole-heartedly. I got my hair cut at Fantanstic Sam’s one time and it was awful. I swear the girl stabbed me intentionally with the comb.
I pay $10cdn because the computer I sit infront of all day doesn’t care what I look like.
