A Different Perspective

Faith, Art, Politics, and the Emerging Church

a different perspective from alan hartung on the emerging church, politics, faith, and life

I just downloaded the latest firefox, and so far so good. And there are some things I noticed right away that I like better. The RSS notifier for one is now on the far right of the address bar at the top, instead of buried at the bottom.

All my favorite extensions still work, and everything seems to be going smooth.

If you have not downloaded the FREE Firefox browser, you should take it for a test drive. And you can help me out in the process of you do it by using the link in the right column of every page. Google is actually paying adsense affiliates a buck for each download from someone who hasn’t used Firefox before (don’t know how they know, but just to be honest, don’t download it using my link unless you’ve never downloaded and installed it before).

Any way, I use Firefox as my main browser on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms. Nearly 1/4 of the people visiting this site use Firefox, more than double than last year at this time. There’s a reason it’s gaining so much ground on IE… it’s a superior browser!

ADDED: Simple things can sometimes give you great joy. This latest release of Firefox adds a very useful function Safari’s had for quite awhile… the delete key on the Mac (if it works on PC it would be the backspace key) will send your current browser window back one page in the history… as long as you’re not in a textbox like I’m typing in right now. See, there, I can delete. Well, you can’t see it but take my word for it.
