  1. Radical moves need to be taken in the church. Bold moves might actually be very good. Teachings are important, however, there are thousands and thousands of Christians around the world who if they never sat in another teaching and instead put to practice what they have learned Sunday after Sunday for 10 years would be doing ministry instead of hearing about it. Bold moves to action are good. It just could be that the telegraph hurt the church and instead of learning by doing, we now learn by sitting but rarely do. I will take a brand new Christian who never sat a sermon in their life out discipling with me anyday over most well seasoned Christian “learners.” The new believer just tells what has happened to them (the gospel) and no debate can over come the word of their testimony! Good thought process, never thought about how the written word has hurt us.

  2. Good post Scott. Well said and good motivation. Let’s rock the world with some new Christians while the “learning” church sits back and gets full.
