Okay, besides the cheesy song title opening, I really do need some help. An account I took over awhile back for maintenance and marketing is at least temporarily reverting back to the person who handed the work off to me. The problem is, they did this without notice and I rely on the fixed amount for marketing I take in every month. This has put me in quite a bind financially.
I’m not asking for a handout, but just putting it out there that I do web design, maintenance, marketing, hosting, domain sales, digital conversion of audio or video tapes, and email blasters (only to lists received by opt-in sign-ups… no spam!!!).
If you, or anyone you know of need some web work, let me know. alan@socalwebsites.com
I just lost 450 a month from my income, and I budget so that I have basically just enough money to pay the bills and spend the rest of my time as editor of theooze, acting, and writing. Again, I’m not looking for charity, and if I hadn’t had this account terminated (even if it might be only temporary) without notice, I would just be seeking new clients by more traditional methods instead of pleading for them on my blog.
Oh, and the reason it reverted back is because my strengths are in coding and making stuff work. The guy who handed it off to me is an awesome designer, and they want to redesign their email blasts, so it was just easier for them to have him do it at least for the next couple of months while they give it a new look.
Thanks ahead of time for considering this. And feel free to pray for me, too. It’s times like these where I get mad at myself for not having more faith that everything is going to work out. It’s like, I’m bummed out, then I get more upset because I know I shouldn’t be so bummed. I know it’s okay to be bummed, but I just feel like my own experience of God’s provision should kick my butt into gear to have a little more faith in times like these.
Thanks fdr!
Just an update. It looks like there’s a chance I’ll get to do some of the work remaining this month, and that will help incredibly. Still looking for more work, though!

In my prayers Alan. I wish I could hire you to fix my blog…. or fix the nut behind the keyboard….
Hang in there…
