  1. good podcast Alan. I’m listening now. I just bought God’s Politics. Its good, a bit thick, but well worth it. Also bought Generous Orthodoxy. I’m diggin’ it.

  2. Aaron -

I accidentally hit call when I was trying to add you. I would like to talk to you sometime, but at the time I was skyping you, I did it on accident :)

if you want to help me test Skype for recording interviews for the podcast, that would be excellent!

Thanks for voting on the topic. I hope votes come in quickly, I’d like to do the next podcast at the end of this week! I’ll need a day or two to prepare after the votes are in, so it’ll probably be the weekend before I get the next one done.

  4. Anytime Jim Wallis gets coverage, it’s a good day.

One of the things that disappointed me about the last campaign was the amount of anger people expressed toward ‘evangelicals’ (do they really mean ‘fundamentalists’? From the description they do). I can say, as a political moderate-of-sorts, I have almost no fear of them. Except that they’ve shown they are drawn to the powerful no less than everyone else.

Podcasts are *great*! keep ‘em up!

  5. Very interesting and thought provoking. I share many of your views and am happy to see that there are others out there who think like this.
    I do have a request:
As i’m struggeling with my faith i wonder why christ had to suffer. It seems to be a fundamental question of the christian faith and i haven’t yet found a convincing answer.
What are your thoughts on this?

    Christoph
