I’ve written about my feelings for Wal-Mart before, but I don’t know how to feel about this one.
The f-bomb evidently is contained in the song, Thoughtless, on the CD, Anywhere But Home. Because Wal-Mart has censored so many other CD’s, they are being sued because they didn’t censor this one. Evidently they knew about the word, because it was edited out of an online promo, but it still appeared on the CD sold in Maryland where the suit has been filed.
How interesting is it that the band’s cd at the center of this controversy is one that’s had controversy itself in the “Christian” world. Are they or aren’t they? The band themselves have given mixed signals over the years. Now I’m sure they’ll be counted “out…”
