Wired News: Rough Reception for DNA Law

I am glad, extremely glad that the ACLU is taking this to court, but I am not optimistic at their chances of succeeding. I have yet to talk to someone who voted for this proposition who understood that it applied to those who were arrested and not just for convicted felons.

The crap about innocent people not having to worry pisses me off, too. Yes, we should all just trust the government to do the right thing. And even though DNA mismatching is rare, it is not unheard of. This still pisses me off.
