I posted something about this awhile back, but it’s eating at me again. When you go to a movie theater, the ads should not be blaring so loud you cannot have a conversation. While it is a little more inconvenient, I have decided only to go to a theater in Hollywood which is a little more expensive, but has no ads before. I have no problem with the previews, but regular commercials blared so loud you can’t have a conversation… it sucks. You’re paying money to go get ads blasted at you. And for a good movie, you may have to get there a half hour early for a decent seat.
Which reminds me, the theater in Hollywood has a real novel concept… assigned seating for movies! It’s worth the extra few bucks to know where you are sitting in advance of the movie. No gang rush for the good seats. No buying your ticket ten hours before someone and ending up in the front row of the movie tweaking your neck because of bad traffic on the way to the theater.
Okay, the rant is over.
